Re: My covers, acapella
haha, great job~
I think you should do karaoke instead. singing feels so plain without any music, hehe~ but it's a good start. keep on practicing and you'll do great. ^__^

Humm... not many songs have their own instrumental (just Katayoku no Tori, Inori no Kanata and VII). With songs like Amnesia and others you can use an effect, called "Vocal remover". You can find it in every recording programme, like Audacity...
Re: My covers, acapella
so there IS a vocal remover program. I've been searching for that kind of program, even asking my friend who is a computer geek, but he didn't know much either.
thanks for the info, Maruko, and good luck, Wasabi!

Your voice is very lovely, but I have to agree with phio, unless it's like a choir or something. And, about the karaoke maybe you could record your voice, and then sync it with the music.
Anyways, I love Audacity! It's saved my butt may times when I had to edit a song. I mainly use it for pitch, and speed, but it's vocal remover is awesome! I strongly recommend it. Below are some I did about a month ago. So, you can hear how it sounds.
Haresugita Sora no Shita de
Utakata no Hana
[I've always wanted to make an English fandub of these two songs, but haven't the microphone for it (or maybe it was the voice xD) That, and I haven't got around to translating the lyrics, so they fit the melody.]

I'm doing an Italian Version of "Kalliope", with the base in orgel version =D
As soon as it's ready, I'll post it here!

Re: My covers, acapella
If you do download Audacity you could always amplify your voice.
Hope I helped, and if not try this: esnips. I must admit I've only read a few responses, but it seems like they know what they're talking about. They also have a wonderful karaoke community.
