I would recommend this comedy series, Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu.
Its a parody series of Full metal panic. Hella hilarious
Highly recommended!

I've watched some series of FMP, and it's funny indeed. but I wonder if I've seen Fumoffu, hehe~

as for what I recommend, I highly recommend Code Geass! artwork done by CLAMP so no need to worry about graphic. and the story plot is awesome, gosh. it's a must! ^^

My recommendations:

Code Geass: This is definitely kick-ass. Action, Comedy, Drama, Suspense, Everything Else.

Ginban Kaleidoscope: A mixture of Comedy and Drama. And of course, Romance.

Chaos;Head (Anime): This is also awesome, despite being another harem-genre anime. Probably because it's psychedelic.

Serial Experiments Lain: If you want an anime that can stimulate your brain, make you think, or if you're on "off-society" mood.

Fairy Tail: This shonen manga-based anime is different from all Shonen Jump stuff. Why? Watch it to find out.

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni: Why not? Shikata-san sang for this anime. And although the story is quite confusing (like the Higurashi series, though I've never watched it because it was a harem-genre xD), you will find this quite addictive...and gory. xD

Kyou Kara Maou (God Save Our King): For shonen-ai lovers!

.hack//SIGN and .hack//Roots: I'm a big fan of the .hack franchise. I think you'll love "The World" as much as I do.

Sailormoon: Because she saved me from a nightmare. xD

Akazukin Cha Cha: Very cute!

Fantastic Children: If you want something supernatural and Greek-style characters, then this one is for you. Beware, it's got heavy drama...sort of. xD

When I was about to get hit by a Jeepney during my childhood dream, she used her super powers to save me. I could never forget that.
