Prora Album?

In all honesty I have no idea what this is D : My Japanese is terrible.

This site says its release date was 05/03/2005, and it was a CD. If anyone knows for sure I would very much appreciate anymore information about it.

At first I thought it was something releated to Navigatoria album, but Navigatoria was publiced afteri this... so it's impossible... Anyway, I don't know what it might be!

^A bootleg means a fake and some people do sell bootlegs on ebay ^_^

hm, as far as I know, on many of her biography, I never seen this album.

I have seen the name Prora mentioned in a Japanese discussion thread about Shikata's live concerts. This might be a live recording of one of her earlier concerts, and was sold in limited quality. The cover also says that this is a computer-used video CD.

I also think it might have connection with Navigatoria, because Prora is an Italian word that means a ship's bow, which is related to Navigatoria's overall theme. Maybe it was some sort of a preview to Navigatoria? And when the full Navigatoria album was released, Shikata removed Prora from her discography because it no longer served any further purpose.

That would certainly explain why there's so little information. Thank you for the help!

ah, nice explanation, Higatsu. it makes sense, but I think it won't hurt to let this album still written on her discography anyway, just to inform the listeners that this album existed once before.

Prora is the opening movie for Shikata's Navigatoria Live. It's just like how she always has opening/ending movies for her Harmonia and Pantalea concerts. So Prora is her Navigatoria Live opening movie.

Knowing Shikata, I'm sure Prora only has the movies and no live recordings of her concert. Though I wonder if it uses an unreleased track...like Pantalea's Pitalacta or what.

opening movies? but what kind of movie? @__@ never seen an opening movie for a concert ever before. XD

It's simply a MAD video, with abstract images, that presents the Concert itself. We could also call it "image video"...

It lists some of Shikata's unreleased songs, one of which is Prora. I'm not sure which thread to put this into so I just put it here, since I found it while searching for Prora.

1) Preghiera
Original version of Inori -Monlam-, which has already been kindly ripped by a Chinese user somewhere...

2) セナンイロア (Senaniroa - CRUDE Katakana translation)
Revealed at the HATS Music Fest '07. From other information gathering, I found that it has some relation to Istoria ~Kalliope~, though I can't say for sure because I don't really understand.

3) Canto
An alternative version of HOLLOW. Supposedly the main theme for some game, but I have no further information, and neither does the blogger.

4) GenEtiC
A sample that came with the Haikyo to Rakuen CD. It was posted on Nicovideo but the person had already taken it down. Darn! It was the closest I got to finding any of these songs.

5) Prora
Navigatoria LIVE movie. Not sure if it is a song.

6) 風の唄 (Kaze no Uta)
No info.

7) Caloria
No info.

8 ) Acqua
Came with Harmonia (which you folks here already know).

9) 久遠の海～夕闇～ (Kuon no Umi ~Yuuyami~)
An Italian version of Kuon no Umi, which also has a slightly different arrangement. It is available for some mu-mu users, but I have no idea what this website is talking about.

As you can see, we are missing out on so many unreleased tracks. Prora is only the tip of the iceberg. I feel like tearing out my hair

You can remove the 期间限定配布 from Preghiera. It just means "limited release". Clearly a Chinese fan ripped the song XD

Anyway I have Preghiera and Acqua too. It's just that I was THIISSSS close to getting GenEtiC and it completely infuriates me...if only I stalked nicovideo during that time!
