I found this awhile ago and that I'd share C: There's a novel/story pertaining to nine sisters. Only the first part of the story is up though.

Here is the translation for the first chapter! Credit goes to Utsuho Lazy from A Reyvateil's Melody forum. She has permitted us to post the translation here as well, so thank you.
I put it on spoiler since it's pretty long.
Enjoy!
I put it on spoiler since it's pretty long.
- Spoiler:
- Chapter I: Pieris - Part one
The mountain ridge stands high, as if to pierce the Heaven, as if to isolate the Land like a towering wall.
Thick cloud covers the peak of rugged mountains, so much that those people who dwell in the lower world can only barely see the contours.
There lies Mount Helicon, also known as the Realm of Gods, where the Gods reside.
That is a separated world which unqualified people, no matter how many in number, can never reach.
The magnificent view that outlooks a distant world, the plants flourishing verdantly, there gushes a copious flow - The Fountain of Gods, said to be born from Pegasus' ravaging hoofs, that were harder than even steel.
Right now, by that lakeside, eight Maidens are relaxing pleasantly.
From the pure water filling the fountain to the brim to the clothing worn by the Maidens, they are shining, they are emitting a faint light.
But, even this grandeur spectacle unknown to the world of human are but no match for the beauty of the Maidens themselves.
Such beauty, bestowed to each of the Maidens, are so glorious that one cannot even imagine.
And yet, in this divine land protected by the Great Gods, where no trace of impurity is allowed, the same melancholy can be seen on the Maidens' facial expressions.
Carrying small accessories such as a cane, a flute, or a harp on their hand, they sit by the lake shore delicately.
"Has Sister Kalliope still not returned yet?"
With an innocent appearance, a young girl whispers in a fascinatingly sweet and charming voice.
In contrast, the voice that answers her echoes frigidly.
"You're so annoying. How could you trouble us sisters because of such trivial things, insolent child of man."
Her voice has no intention of hiding her displeasure, yet, it still rings like a bell from the celestial Heavens.
"Calm down. It's not like we have decided to accept her yet."
"But, is it true that a human girl has come to challenge us to a singing contest?"
Holding a cane on her hand as she plays around, she speaks again of the one different girl.
A sigh can be heard - from whom? Nobody knows.
"Hey, is that true?"
"I can't believe it. That people can think of doing such reckless things."
Answering the question filled with genuine surprise is a rather emotionless voice.
"Properly speaking, what you have said might be true. In the human world, sometimes there appear people who act first, think about it later. Such people, they rarely realize their own faults."
With her eyes gazing on the quiet and lulling lake, she gracefully puts her hand into the spring water.
Ripples spread on the transparent water surface, and then soon, that surface ties into a single figure like a mirror.
The Maidens, sitting around the lake, are curious and take a look on the limpid water mirror.
Echoing through the clear sky, voice of a little bird chirping.
――That is, the Flower Garden.
Countless colorful flowers are blooming lavishly, competing against one another to see which is the most bewitching of the Garden.
Should it ever be that one was to catch a glimpse of this spectacle, they would certainly mistake this place for the Realm of Gods.
To such extent is the peerless beauty of this Flower Garden, a brilliant place not supposed to be enjoyed by the human eyes.
Such people being granted a fortuitous chance to witness this beauty are rare.
This place is created to be for the little birds, a Paradise in a Garden.
But, blooming beyond the extravagant flowers that congeal one's look, are the young girls.
Embracing their bodies are vividly colorful dresses comparable to that of the flowers'. They are laughing happily.
Their figures, more elegant, more beautiful than any flower.
A girl sitting alone by the arbor opens her cherry blossom colored lips and begins to craft a single rhythm.
Naturally, so are the other girls singing in choruses.
Their singing voices interweave and entwine, eventually turning into one, resounding sonorously through the Garden.
That is, a melody unimaginable to be of this world.
As if to bring blessing, the tender Spring wind calmly surrounds the girls, fluttering their dresses' light hems and their alluring, silk-smooth hair.
At the sight of such beauty shining brighter than even the flowers, those little birds soaring on the sky also find branches to land on and rest their wings, as they entrust their body to the comfortable melody.
Maybe they have realized that, maybe they have not, but the girls suddenly exchange glances, their smiles showing satisfaction.
...Those girls, they understand the value of their own singing voice.
And, as they sing, they bathe themselves in praises, proudly.
Such unparalleled music talent was probably bestowed unto them by the Gods themselves.
The girls believe so without a trace of doubt.
Otherwise, there would be no way mere human could obtain such talent, such singing voice.
Even their beauty is not falling behind their voice, it would not be inappropriate to say that their singing in this Paradise in form of a Garden is, without a doubt, a heavenly sight.
Here and there, nine girls are sitting in total. They are the affectionate Princesses of King Pieros, ruler of this Kingdom of Makedonia.
The names of those Princesses whose beautiful voices rival that of the Gods themselves are known everywhere, both inside and outside the Kingdom. Rumors say that so few people have ever been given the miraculous chance to listen to their singing, even once.
And then, after the Harmony of nine has reached its end, slowly, silence returns.
The Garden, now tranquil without a sound, is soon filled with the little birds' cheerful chirps once again.
"Sis, today your singing is so splendid too."
One of the girls, who now has stopped singing, her eyes glitter and she lets go of a satisfied sigh in admiration.
"Ah, but isn't your voice wonderful too? Yesterday, when we called our Kingdom's best minstrel into the palace, he was no match for your voice."
Next to the sister who has just answered and is smiling sweetly, another girl opens her mouth.
Such beauty is revealed in a smile so pure to the point of unfair.
"Ahaha, the minstrel's singing wasn't that bad, but compared to Sis' singing, his was like a withered flower."
"Did you see his face turning blue?"
Without even a little fragment of malice in their words, the girls laugh.
Such laughter is not the result of haughtiness. Rather, the girls challenged the minstrel fair and square, and won the competition by their own.
To the winner, rewards such as fame and praise are given. And unwavering self-confidence. To the girls, such proper rewards are but expected enjoyment.
"What a pity, but it couldn't be helped."
Laughing innocently, the youngest Princess speaks up, dreamingly.
"Because, we are Pierides."
Residing at Mount Olympus, the mountain of Gods, are nine Goddesses who govern music, art and literature, known as Muses.
Another name given to them was, Pieris.
However, being daughters of the king who governs the land of Pieria, it is natural that the Singing Princesses came to be crowned Pierides, too.
There are also nine of them, and they are also as proud of their singing as the nine Goddesses do, thus it is satisfactory that the Princesses be embraced in the delusion of being the Goddesses themselves.
"We've graciously taken on the title of the Goddesses. There is simply no way we could lose to human in a singing contest. Isn't that right?"
The girl exaggerates with a voice almost like singing, then laughs.
"...But, it's so boring."
"Oh, what's wrong?"
Resting her chin on her hands, one of the girls speaks up. Immediately, her sisters' gazes gather on her displeased visage.
The girl spreads open her arms and explain.
"We have already called in all the most important singers in the Kingdom. Soon, even singing contests will have to be postponed."
Upon hearing those words, the other sisters shrug their shoulders in agreement.
Using their own status, until now they have invited many singers to their own castle.
And then, putting forth valuable jewels, fortunes enough for one's entire life and positions in the royal palace as rewards, they compelled those singers into taking part in their singing contests. And as of now, they have yet to experience a single loss, without exception.
"Even if we search all over Makedonia, no, all over the entire world, we won't find anymore singers to challenge. Ah, I feel so bored! I can't take it anymore."
To the girls, those singing contests are nothing more than just a mean to fulfill their own vanity, to satisfy their bottomless craving for people's acclamation.
Looking down on those audiences who are lost in excitement over their beautiful voice, ah, such moments of joy!
To them, nothing feels better than that.
Keep listening, to my Song. No, this is not yet everything, I will keep singing more, and more, and more beautifully, so――
Pride plucks their heartstrings, thus they keep on singing.
Pride is what that gives them self-confidence and self-esteem, and thus, their voice shines even brighter.
"Even though I still want to sing more, a lot more. I want many more people to listen to our singing."
A tiny sigh drops from the lovely lips of another Princess.
"Well. Even if we were to be summoned to the presence of the Goddesses, I would not be embarrassed and would let them hear our singing."
The other sisters follow her words.
One of the voices drop suddenly, at that moment.
"It's still too early to give up."
Her tone is not strong, her voice is not loud, but upon hearing that line all the chattering mouths stop immediately and look at the Princess who has just said that.
"Sister Kyrie."
One of the girls calls out her sister's name.
...Standing there is one girl whose nobility and dignity are an appropriate mix of royal solemnity and beauty like that of a white lily in full bloom.
Princess Kyrie, the eldest of Makedonia's Pierides. Her beauty, her voice, her wisdom, amongst the nine sisters she is the most conspicuously prominent.
That's right. She should be considered a manifestation of Kalliope, the Muses' eldest sister, and one not to be outdone even by a Musa herself.
"Aren't there still opponents for our singing contest?"
Princess Kyrie speaks calmly but firmly, and with her eyes shining challengingly she looks at her sisters. With just a couple of words, she has closed down her sisters' noisy chattering. Such are the words of a noble Princess, words worth hearkening to.
"What do you mean, Sis?"
The youngest sister, who has been silently listening to her sister until now, suddenly asks with a childlike voice.
Smiling, Kyrie leisurely turns her back toward her sisters.
Step by step, she ascends the Garden stairway, and as her feet stand on the uppermost step, she turns around.
"My sisters. Don't we all like singing contests?"
Enjoy!
